VERY EXCITING! At Lagoona.

!!! was presumably sunning itself, then a few minutes later it burrowed into the leaf litter between some rocks.

With a Black-knobbed Map Turtle in its mouth.

other people got better shots of the striped-neck part and well, just in general. I will attach when I get them.

Caught in a fish trap net with permits and released unharmed.

2nd on the same log; I've seen males here before but first time seeing females

A Snapping Turtle fought it to it's death (I watched it.).

Has a chunk taken out of his shell above his head. Released where he was found after observation.

Individual has upper jaw deformity

4 juveniles basking together. Didn't see the two vertical ones at first, very glad I did though

Last time I came to this small pond, I found 3 yellow mud turtles, so this is very likely a repeat sighting

Found in our creek pond, removed a leach, released back

Counted 24 sunning in Press Riberas, several age classes including very small individuals.

Found on ground next to tree about 20 feet from pond. Surprised to see eggs still inside. Wonder what happened?

Moved it off the road.

Sen observaron dos ejemplares, se piensa que en apareamiento aunque no se puede confirmar. Al momento de la observación un individuo ingresó bajo el agua.
