“A malformation of plant stems commonly appearing as enlargement and flattening as if several stems were fused is called fasciation.”

Found growing in a bed of Acer macrophyllum leaves up Arroyo Aguague. Larger individuals can be found growing near seeps where Woodwardia fimbriata was also found.
