Unexpected here!

Good shot of a male Rambur's Forktail damselfly.

I saw this beautiful bird, before photographing, and recognized a swallow-tail, flying over live oaks and open areas in Valkaria, Brevard County.

SO ENERGIZED! By my tour of the native landscape at heritage park at crane creek it was so beautiful and I learned so much can’t wait to visit again!

Finally caught one of these! Has a bit more dark on the face than I'm used to for this species but not as strong as in sandhill and everything else perfectly matches cypress.

Also known as Adam's Needle. Found 3 of these plants under an oak tree canopy. They are native to Florida.
