Leaf lamina surface covered with numerous, superficial, minute, red vesicles. Vesicle membrane thin, easily breached with needle. Microscopic eriophyid mites observed (using stereo microscope > 60 x mag.) crawling between and over the vesicles.

Image 4 shows a single, white mite in centre (note 2 pairs of legs. Scale bar = 200 microns).

Mites 200-250 microns long.

Field Notes - Probably too small to ID. It would be the size of a pin prick in paper. Tiny tiny tiny. Was on a little web between 2 succulents on my outdoor table. I've ceopped so you can see the markings on its back
