My own observation of the flowering plant

I went back to the weirdly tall chaparral yucca in the Santa Fe Dam burn area to get some better photos of the surrounding environment. Human in the pictures is 5'2" tall without the helmet (probably 5'5" with helmet and shoes).

• Photo 2 is a panorama showing the surrounding area.
• Photos 3,4: It looks like it's about to put up its flower stalk.
• Remainder of photos: Environment around the plant. Closest things which would have been of an appreciable size were a lemonade berry bush and some prickly pears.
• No other chaparral yuccas in the immediate area or visible from the bike trail showed this growth habit.
