In a group on the ground in the first forested swale in from the beach

On NZ Beech (Nothofagus menziesii?), about 150mm across.

Roughly 2-3cm tall. Growing underneath an old log (unsure of type).

Growing on quite rotten wood. Caps to 50 mm across.
