Observation is for the salamander in the rear. All three individuals were pulled about 20 feet away from eachother.

Observed on a mild November night at around midnight, I was able to count abut 15 individuals in very close proximity.

This is actually a yet-to-be-described distinct species, often known as the 'Sandhills' Salamander.

Finally got my first after years of failing. What an awesome snake

This looks to be an example of a hypomelanistic version of a red-bellied newt. I have not been able to see any documented observations like this!

In oak woodland.

Captured by a local couple in their garden. I only know locality as vic. Elkins.

Tentative ID; not sure where San Simeon salamander range begins.

Probably nigreventris, but the robust body and tail, and the colored hind leg pits make me hopeful its a minor.

Found underneath rock, in a canyon away from the main river.

Found in seep stream, trib of upper west branch mill creek.

Found in my backyard in the center of Heredia Central, Heredia (350m de La UNA).
