During the afternoon UNT Ecology Lab birding field trip (section .502), a third congregation of ibis flew overhead on their migration route. All afternoon I had been hoping that the second lab group would get to see the ibis! And then, at the end of the "modified Christmas Bird Count", the second lab indeed got to see this wonderful species fly overhead. What a great end to the UNT Pollinative Prairie bird blitz Fall 2020.
