Body length 37 mm.(antennae not included)
Probably unnamed. I would call it Peripatoides aff. indica or P. aff. aurorbis.
Absolutely splendid & my very best find in 2022.
I am still crazy excited by this. The colour was literally velvet.
I released the individual after photography.

Presumed to be Womersleymeria sp. based on the characteristic of long extending spines.

Field Notes - I could see the tuft of feathers around the top of the beak but could make out the bird's colour. I think it was a tawny frogmouth. about as big as a Raven maybe 35cm
