Found crossing the road, it was very relaxed and even took a sip on a water puddle. In the first picture it may look like the snake was ready to strike but actually it was just yawning.
Encontrada cruzando a rua, estava bem relaxada e inclusive bebeu um gole de água em uma poça. Na primeira foto pode parecer que a serpente está pronta para atacar mas na verdade estava apenas bocejando.

A small group that have been around for a few weeks. One individual was seemingly eating lichen.

Don't know from where they came from, I believe that they were dumped in the lake as tadpoles. They were small sized and many dead individuals were found.
Não sei de onde elas vieram, acredito que tenham sido abandonadas no lago enquanto girinos. Eram pequenas e muitos indivíduos mortos foram encontrados.

This individual was found cruising the road and about to enter someone's house. I didin't had anything with me to catch it so I decided to use my hand. It was very tame but I'm not sure if I would do this today. The animal was released in a field nerby, but away from the houses.
Encontrei este indivíduo cruzando uma rua, prestes a entrar em uma casa. Eu não tinha nada comigo para pega-la, então decidi usar a mão mesmo. Era bem dócil, mas acho que não faria isso hoje em dia. O animal foi solto em um campo próximo, mas longe das casas.
