Snowy Owl
Unbelievably, a snowy owl has made its way to Southern California. What a beauty!

An amazingly common sight when there aren’t millions of beach goers picking them up! Found at least a dozen without trying today on a beach emptied due to rainy weather

Finally found one! Light underside distinguishes this from black-bellied slender salamander. This salamander was in a narrow coast live oak woodland at the bottom of a canyon. Santa Rosa Island.
