Bound By Beauty Butterfly Circle in Constitution Park

This is a circle of land in Constitution Park in Miami Shores, FL that is not mowed and not treated with herbicide or pesticide. It contains mostly native wild plants that host butterflies that are commonly viewed as “weeds” and are widely present in most gardens, swales, parks, and schoolyards in Miami Dade county. The circle is designed to attract and feed numerous insect pollinators in addition to the butterflies, including native bees, moths, dragonflies and other beneficial insects. Students and adults will be visiting the area to observe wildlife and both wild and cultivated plants in it. פחות ↑
