Welcome to the Inaugural Texas Pollinator BioBlitz
From October 7-16, 2016 we’re celebrating the bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, birds and other animals that are critical to our native plants and food supply.
Join the fun!
- Daily Challenges: Register online (http://tpwd.texas.gov/education/bioblitz/registration) to receive daily emails October 7-16 with ideas for taking photos and making observations of pollinator-related scenes.
- Post your images to iNaturalist, contributing to citizen science data collection.
- Events: Attend pollinator-themed events near you (http://tpwd.texas.gov/education/bioblitz/events).
Throughout the event, give the pollinator full-house challenge a try: photograph a pollinating bee, beetle, butterfly, fly, and bird (not all at once or at the same site, but over the course of the blitz).
