I'm a keen birder, living in the Dandenong Ranges. Birdsland Reserve, Belgrave Heights is my favourite place to visit and observe the bird life there. I have written two books for children about birds in the Dandenong Ranges called 'Words on Birds: Feathered Friends of the Dandenongs'.

My husband and I have lived in the Dandenong Ranges since 2009 and it was the sighting of a Blue Banded Bee that got me into nature photography. I use Nikon cameras, mostly a D7100 and a P950 for observation of our local nature.
