A newly-minted federal employee, working in southern California as a Wildlife Biologist for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at the San Diego NWR Complex. In my previous life (Jan 2008–Feb 2023), I spent 15 years working on San Clemente Island, mostly managing the release and monitoring of the endangered San Clemente Loggerhead Shrike.
