Professor of botany, plant taxonomy, systematics, diversity and evolution, and floristics at the Université de Neuchâtel, Switzerland. I am also the Curator of the Herbarium (NEU) and lead field excursions throughout Switzerland. My research focusses on moonwort ferns Botrychium (Ophioglossaceae), and the flowering plant families Gentianaceae and Bromeliaceae. Floristics of the Neotropics, central Europe, and the Arctic, especially Alaska.
