Searching for Tsuga canadensis
I've been told that T. canadensis is nearby the "Jerusalem RIver" area of Wantagh.
Sprinkled amongst a highly invasive, 5 sq mi, wild area, were some beeches, yews and Liriodendrons but no Tsuga.
- Further searches will be more southwest.
- The invasive population is so high, we may see a decline in the Taxus population.
