Spring is here, bugs go out, time to spot !
Hi nature enthusiasts,
I thought it would be great to organize a catch-up session altogether somewhere around in Wellington or around, to discuss the projects we are going to setup with the nature awakening. I suggest we meet in a pub, with some beers and nibbles, as we did at least once on the waterfront. Who is on for this ?
We can have a first start next Friday or Saturday ? 5-6-7pm-ish ? What about Sprig and Fern in Thorndon, for a night spotting at the botanical afterwards ;).

Great idea - so this would be the 20th or 21st? If so @leonperrie and I are keen.
I'm keen, Friday 20th would suit me better but could make Saturday 21st work as well.

Great to hear from you and see that you're interested !! I was thinking to last Friday and yesterday initially, but the weather was not really friendly... According to the forecast next weekend looks better (for the moment), so let's do Saturday 21 - I prefer to avoid the traffic jam on Friday evening ;). What about 6pm at Sprig and Fern Thorndon Saturday 21 ? Not sure, if we need to book a table before, bt maybe better ? Please confirm if you will come :).

Hey guys, sorry to bail at the last second but I don't feel great so I'm going to stay home for this one. If there are any plans being made, I'm keen to hear them.
Hi @shaun_thompson no worries, hope you're feeeling better now. There was not much things to see, but that's still pretty cold at night, it will be better in November. Maybe we can organize something for the Bioblitz, I see there is no project in NZ so far for this year.
