2019 original bio:
Finishing my last semester at VCU in Mechanical Engineering. I am taking ENVS591 for fun, it is Stream Survey Methods with Dr. McGarvey. We have done aquatic insect and fish surveys in Reedy Creek so far. I have gone on my own sampling ventures elsewhere in the JRPS.

My interest in the JRPS has always been based on the quarrying and canal history and our city's relationship with Granite. Now after joining this site, I am starting to take more notice of living things instead of stones and artifacts.
