As a wildlife photographer, filmmaker, and writer I'm passionate about raising awareness of issues caused by human development that negatively impact Costa Rican wildlife. I work with Nosara-based wildlife rescue center, IAR Costa Rica (formerly known as Refuge for Wildlife), and have been documenting and sharing heartwarming stories that show the hard work and dedication it takes to rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife injured due to car strikes, domestic pet attacks, and electrocutions. I am dedicated to preventing wildlife electrocutions, the #1 killer of howler monkeys in Nosara, as a member of IAR Costa Rica's wildlife protection team, Stop the Shocks.
