I am a Namib Desert resident that previously collected insects for the National Museum of Namibia to document biodiversity before such studies became topical. I am not a poet and not related to the "Soul of the White Ant/Soul of the Ape" naturalist namesake. I found iNaturalisting an excellent means for non-invasive biodiversity research in the post-CBD and post-Nagoya world. It is also addictive!
