My name is Brandon Hall and I am originally from Northeast Texas. I moved to Austin in search of biology jobs after graduating from The University of Texas at Tyler with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Biochemistry. During my undergraduate studies, my research was mainly centered on benthic macro-invertebrate community ecology. My research interests switch fairly often. Mycology is another point of interest for me. My main point of focus for now is cactus biology. I harvest and sow seeds that I find on my hiking adventures. Chihuahuan Desert and Hill country species are my favorite. I love Texas native species. Ultimately, I am looking for a career in the realm of biology, particularly cactus biology, mycology, or benthic macro-invertebrate ecology.
