This butterfly was very fast and very pale. I reduced the Highlight and darkened the Shadows a little bit to make detail stand out a little more, since the original was blown out.
I don't know why I took so many photos of this Anemone. I now see what looks like a Pisaurina (spider) on one flower/fruiting structure, but only a tiny bit is visible. I don't think I noticed that in the field or I would have taken ID-able photos.
Some of these galls didn't have the skinny shape of finger galls, but I don't know if that means they're something different or not. I had more photos but unbeknownst to me, in the low light, the shutter speed (on the automatic phone camera) was too low and they are just green motion blur.
Host is box elder, Acer negundo.
