This Euglena was found in the lake behind my house on March 6th, 2019 at 6:47 pm. The weather is about 54 degrees Fahrenheit. I was able to identify this protist because Euglena contain chlorophyl which makes the Euglena green. Furthermore, green algae usually grows in the water. In the pictures i took, the euglena had some bubbles and many leaves surrounding the euglena.
