I couldn't identify what was in this water sample but there was small particles moving around so I captures some pictures.
This rotifer may have been in shock. Its body did not move, but its tail swung back and forth. Magnification 400x.
This protist was a fast swimmer. Seemed to have legs and a tail.
This specimen was observed eating plant material and swimming around a large clump of material. It was fairly lager than other organisms around it and was rather slow-moving. It seems to have photosynthetic organelles or chlorophyll, but I'm unsure. It was collected in a still area of Onion Creek.
This little worm was in a water source next to campus. The water was full other other organisms like insects and protists. He was very mobile and was eating lots of food!
