A small female spider wasp (it did not seem much larger than a carpenter ant , excluding antennae and legs), hunting in the lower leaves of a stand of Elephantopus beside the path.
Any help is most appreciated.
Female, I presume, exploring crevices and open ground along the side of a gravel path through rich forest.
I'm only guessing on the genus, although the subfamily is clear. There is a slight greenish tint to the reflections of the integument. With bad light, only the first 3 photographs are somewhat OK; the rest show single features (spines on the hind tibia or the abdomen tip) but are not pleasant to look at. Sorry.
