Ascomata large, up to 3 mm, K+ green (squash preperation under the microscope). Capitumum ~0,2 mm diam. Epithecium greenish. Stalk red, not pruinose, ~0,1 mm thick. Spores non-septate, ellipsoid, 4.4-6.0 x 2.4-2.9 μm. Ascus tip with presence of canal (but hard to see). On lignum of Betula on the border between Picea forests and Betula swamp woods.

Growing on calcareous rock.
After concluding that Verrucaria baldensis exist here (see https://www.biodiversity4all.org/observations/39119583) it seemed probable, due to its appearance, that this would be Opegrapha rupestris, that is known to live parasitic on Verrucaria baldensis.
However, a quick microscopic analysis showed that the spores are 1-septate and not 3-septate, as is the case of Opegrapha rupestris. Therefore, this must another lichenicolous lichen, not known to me.
