@loarie I just realized that you've been curating this order with reference to the Dermaptera Species File. It seems the latter hasn't incorporated the staged taxon change (yet):
http://dermaptera.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1182193
nor does it recognize Chelidurella as a valid genus:
http://dermaptera.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1181803
If we're sticking with the Taxon Framework and still want to make this change, then we shoiuld track it with a deviation. But I started this flag to check in about whether we should stick with the Taxon Framework https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/531750#activity_comment_6676ec24-ca63-4c3e-86f7-1e70257742fb
Apparently the Dermaptera species file has been updated. It now lists Chelidurella as independent genus and Ch.guentheri as synonym of Ch. acanthopygia, also the new species pseudovignai has been added + all changes proposed in this flag https://www.inaturalist.org/flags/508516
http://dermaptera.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1181803
Can a curator please update the taxonomic situation according to Dermaptera species file?
@loarie @jakob @konstakal
This is a good hub for curators wanting to work on Dermaptera
https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/47793-Dermaptera/taxonomy_details
specifically checking flags (and making changes to resolve them) and checking "Relationship unknowns" and either swapping them or making deviations
Any objections, @christophe_g @fuerchtegott @konstakal @fdusoulier @auricula_vermis? Changing the genus from Chelidura to Chelidurella (www.inaturalist.org/flags/508517) will require a 2nd taxon change.
This one is about the species synonmy.
