I am retired, and love being out in nature! I have a degree in biology; my career has been in healthcare (clinical laboratory science and healthcare sales/marketing). I am a certified California Naturalist (Desert Sand and Sky Islands program). My husband and I are also Community Scientists, working on climate change studies with a conservation biologist from the University of California Riverside- Palm Desert, in the Coachella Valley. Hiking is a passion of mine.......and I am fascinated and in awe of the natural world.
