I use iNat to learn about wildlife, but I also think it is a great data source that can be helpful to future researchers. To that end, as a resident of Puget Sound area, I try to add observations of plants and lichens a couple times per week with the intent of trying to improve the iNat dataset in some way (finding species missing to local life lists, documenting phenological variation, documenting species distributions). I also occasionally admin projects such as the horsetail morphology project and others that I dream up.
