I volunteer with the Friends of Cleland and National Trust Bushcare. We weed and plant. Bushwalking at home and in Tasmania sparked my interest in flora and fauna observed while walking and camping over days at a time. It gradually becomes possible to recognise and name, to enjoy the aromas and sounds, from Quandongs to Sassafras, Honeyeaters and Black Currawongs.
