I am a native Oregonian who truly believes that this is Paradise. I love sharing the geology, Ecoregions, and flora and fauna of our wonderful state. As an educator, I only have a general knowledge base of plants, mostly by family and ecology, but am interested in learning more. The botanical names which I learned in college are the only ones I remember, but now most of them are not in vogue! So common names are still useful in communicating observations. I am looking forward to the collaboration nature of iNaturalist.
