MSc student in the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria. My main interest is in plants and I am working on getting better at identifying fungi, grasses, lichens, and birds. I currently take photos with my phone, sometimes paired with a hand lens, but plan on investing in a better camera one day. I also enjoy taking photos of flowers on film from time-to-time and recently started using a GoPro Hero 3 for marine species observations.

I love iNaturalist as a way to catalogue observations, engage with other naturalists, and as a tool for understanding taxonomy and species' distributions. Thanks to everyone who puts time into IDing and sharing knowledge on this platform!
