I am a PhD student in Dr. Christopher L. Parkinson's lab at Clemson University and I am interested in the integration of many different aspects of biology including evolution, ecology, genetics, and conservation. My current ongoing research spans this broad spectrum to examine everything from Gopher Tortoise movement ecology and conservation in relation to human-made barriers such as roads and railways to examining venom evolution using genome and transcriptome sequencing.
