I just really like turtles!

Currently I am pursuing my M.S. in Integrative Biological Diversity at Western Connecticut State University focusing on the effects of road mortality on Diamondback terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin) in Connecticut.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University, with a bachelor's in science with a degree in Forestry Wildlife Management.

My work experience consists of:

  1. Field technician working for Stephen F. Austin State University assessing the alligator snapping turtle population in Texas.
  2. Working for the University of Florida through collaboration with USGS, conducting research on invasive reptiles in Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve, with the primarily species we were focusing on being Burmese python and Tegus.
  3. Field technician working for Stephen F. Austin State University assessing the alligator snapping turtle population in Texas.
  4. My undergraduate research consisted of comparing Mediterranean house geckos dietary, isotopic, and habitat niches vs. the native species of lizards within east Texas.
