I live in a beautiful part of South Africa, the Swartland and am surrounded by wheat fields and vineyards, but also a highly endangered vegetation type: Swartland Shale Renosterveld. I love nature in all it's forms - although first and foremost I am an avid bird watcher and plant enthusiast. My aim is to study and observe nature on the Kasteelberg and the surrounding areas and to help contribute to recording the different species that occur here. And to have fun doing so!
