I'll start by saying "the P is silent"! The username "earthpsalts" is a reference to being the salt of the earth, and the "p" is just a fun little quirk reminiscent of the Sunday School cartoon character named Psalty from my childhood.

I've got two adult daughters, two of the best sons-in-law a mom could ever ask for, for terrific grandsons and a beautifully sassy granddaughter. I believe that I probably have the happiest marriage in the world, too.

I have a great love for animals, and am keenly interested in learning more about the plants in my neck of the woods. Especially edible and medicinal ones, although I may never actually eat or make medicine with them.
