I have lived on Ometepe from 2003 to 2012 and 2014 to 2019.
I have prefer to observe vertebrates and suffer from a fear of arachnids (arachnophobia) and also a fear of insects (insectophobia) although I didn't have these fears as a child.
I blame the microshots in documentaries I'd watch.
