My main hobby and activity is in hiking and climbing mountains . Along the way I have become interested in the diversity of the surrounding fynbos plants. I have earned myself the name HAT Evie - meaning "high altitude team" . I look out for rare and endangered plants at high altitudes and am part of our local CREW group - called Outramps. A further hobby is gardening. I live on a small holding and seem to have endless plants that demand my attention in some way or other.
