I've been a birder since I was an early teen, almost 50 years now. I studied Wildlife Management at Humboldt State University before transferring to the University of San Francisco to earn my degree in Economics. But I am a birder at heart, and in fact I am never not birding- even while working, attending sporting events, or enjoying a picnic lunch. By primary focus is San Mateo County, CA but am looking forward to broadening my horizons as my career matures and my lifestyle shifts from intensity to relaxation.
