I really throught the sequence would say this is C. diaphorus because it looks like it, and comes from the type locality, but the sequence says otherwise.

A Pseudophlebia

This is Cunningham's Irpex spiculifer (=Oxyporus spiculifer). The sequence indicates it provides an earlier name for Irpex subulatus (=Flavodon ambrosius, F. subulatus)

From the type locality and sequence matched

our version of P. rugosa. Also present in the USA

note the 2nd photo shows the over-hang of the cap over the gills, which separates this from an undescribed look-alike

Yet another phylogenetically slightly different version of this. Now 5 species hiding under the name.

unfortunately the sequence says we now have 2 different species that conform to the name P. hispidolacteus. This is on old Rhipogonum scandens, and so was the type collection.

The sequence indicates the Australian species under this name is not A. brunnea
