Several mature trees in swampy area of disturbed weedy bush remnant. most trees in poor heath, likely due to Austropuccinia psidii infection.
No seedlings or young plants observed (there wasn't any when I visited in 2017 either.)

Bush glen Reserve (formally the 'Newbegin Block'), Browns Bay, Auckland.
These ferns dominate the ground floor of our 10m2 plot along with other types of ferns.
Fallen leaves and fruit from canopy trees in mixed podocarp-broadleaved forest
Local. Corticolous on Cordyline ausralis on margin of kahikatea swamp forest.
Larger plants. Larger than Lemna disperma, with what I think is a winged sheeth, as well as two prominent papillae on the upper leaf surface and a sharply point root (which I also didn't include a photo of because it was crap).
Poor photo but I hope you can still see the straight spines.
Growing with beaked parsley.
Am not sure whether it is T. japonica or T. arvensis but:
T. arvensis has "zero to one bracts"
T. japonica has "4-12 bracts" and my photos seem to have 4+ bracts.
not sure. at first glance like hemlock (although much smaller) which is also present. No smell on crushing
