A few plants hanging grimly on in a site that had, in 1995 been a botanical paradise of wonders and which is now overrun with weeds (Agrostis stolonifera, Festuca rubra subsp. commutata, Leucanthemum vulgare and Sedum acre being the main ones), choking the very life out of the place. Extremely sad to see.

This place had once been a stronghold for the Poa, Australopyrum calcis subsp. optatum, Myosotis colensoi (none seen now), an unnamed Viola (gone), a limestone variant of Cardamine aff. corymbosa "scree race" (nearly gone), and a strange race of Myosotis traversii (gone) that was the closest match I ever saw for the presumed extinct M. traversii var. cinerascens....
