Nassarius cf. humeratus
Dead collected in the high drift.
I’ve noticed some Nassarius spp that looked a bit different from N. variciferus on the last Uido trip, but wasn’t sure enough to think there would be another Nassarius species that look alike.
Then I saw one N. humeratus observation on inat, and I started to suspect those Nassarius I collected might be N. humeratus.
Nassarius humeratus was described in 2011 by J.-W. Yang and S.-P. Zhang. It is said that N. humeratus is clearly distinguishable by smaller size, relatively shorter spire, obvious flat shape of suture and no prominent varices(Yang&Zhang, 2011).
This specimen was collected from Taean.
