Physella acuta?
The snail went after the dragonfly, they struggled, the dragonfly twitched with effort, and then finally, the dragonfly broke free. It sat in the bottom of the tank, upside down, for quite awhile before it started to move around again. I don't know what the snail intended, but it was a weird situation as dragonfly nymphs would usually be the predator in most scenarios.
Habitat: Caught in a pond and photographed in an aquarium before being released back into their habitat.

I found this creature, which I believe is some sort of snail, in a sealed terrarium I created almost two years ago. I got everything from my backyard and did not put in any invertebrates. I was doing maintenance and found this snail, along with one other crawling up the glass. I am going to keep them in captivity until I know whether or not they are invasive or harmful to the environment.
