This Neotropical Cormorant was seen for several days along the Tahquamenon River, near the river mouth. In the photo it is seen to the right with a Double-crested Cormorant to the left. The identification is not in doubt, as it was seen by many dozens of competent birders. The bird is still there as of 2017/05/06
Field Notes - Actually hard to see but there were 3 of them on different pillars.. would be good to know what the scientific names mean.. Robinson give explanations for plant names!!
