Junipers are coniferous trees and shrubs in the genus Juniperus in the cypress family. These trees are commonly referred to as the Bermuda Cedar, creating the nickname “cedar.”

The tree was found at the edge of the woods in my neighborhood. The leaf has a silky feeling to it and the left and right side of the leaf is symmetrical. I estimate the tree to be about 60-75 feet tall.
