Ill-appearing animal that did not flee upon our approach, huddled in the open on a dirt road during the day. Appeared to be shivering. Dead individual nearby. Recent heavy rains.
Black portion of key fob is 7 cm. Silvery spines are seen on rump. Tail is feathered at the tip. Ears appear to be longer than in photos of C. follax and range appears to be consistent.
