Conserved land accessed with permission. Captured as part of a permitted longterm monitoring program. The Myodes in picture 5 was torpid in a damp trap, but warmed quickly in the sun.

Adult came in response to two juvenile birds giving begging calls (as heard in recording)

Terrible photo but was on a rarely used trail and observed this fisher leap from ground to tree and then run up the trunk to a branch where it turned to watch me and my dog (on leash).

2 seen, one immature and this one in breeding plumage.

Observed walking across open field on crusty surface during morning storm with freezing rain. Estim. 36-40" with tail.

Worst photo I've ever taken, but can at least identify the bird.

Owl seen with unidentifiable rodent in its talons. Owl ate its dinner, then went to sleep.

Owl #1 of the day. Continuing owl at this location.

Looked larger than Owl #2, thinking #1 might be the female.

The two owls did not interact while I was there.
