I saw this bird walking in front of my car and my window was cracked so I thought I'd be silly and say "Hello" but I was not expecting the bird to actually respond in any manner. Made for a good photo though!

Found a little wren's nest in a flower pot with three hatchlings and one egg inside. :D

My dog found this injured toad (broken leg, but it isn't visible in the photos) so I made a little home for him and I fed him grasshoppers.

I'm a little confused on the pattern, American Lady? It was found on Thistle.
UPDATE:
I thought that it was possibly an American lady because of the spots, but as it grew older, the spots turned into spikes. I'm sure it's a Painted Lady now. (See third picture.)
